RGB Scene Projection Scanning
Photorealistic 3D Capture Using LED Light Mapping
We’re redefining the way 3D scans are lit.
Traditional 3D body and head scanning relies on neutral, even lighting—usually from powerful strobes bounced off white walls. While this makes it easy to relight later in 3D software, it doesn’t always reflect the emotional tone or real-world ambiance of the final scene.
Our new RGB Scene Projection technique changes that.
Instead of strobes, we use constant LED lighting and project a high-resolution JPG or MP4 across our 3D scan stage. This projected image becomes the actual lighting source during the scan, wrapping the subject in the colors, shadows, and mood of your final environment.
It’s a perfect match for productions where the 3D scene is already established—whether that’s a dramatic sunset, a neon-lit interior, or a branded visual concept. Your subject is scanned with light from your world, not just from our studio.
How it Works:
Upload a JPG or MP4 directly into our scanning software.
The visual is played across our custom-built 4080-pixel LED lighting system.
We capture the model with that specific light—just like it would look on set.
The result: ready-to-integrate, photorealistic scans that already feel like part of your final render.
This method bridges the gap between scanning and scene creation, saving time and enhancing realism across your pipeline.
