Bullet-time & Gaussian splatting studio
SINCE 2012 - MONTRÉAL
Xangle Studio creates bullet-time and Gaussian splatting experiences, deploys and operates rigs of hundreds of cameras, and scans actors for 3D digital doubles in movies and games. Based in Montréal, we work internationally with synchronized cameras, custom lighting and capture software we develop ourselves.
Bullet-time for live events
Bullet-time installations turn a split second into a moving portrait. We create multi-camera experiences for brand activations, red carpets, festivals and sports media days, with branded visuals and on-site sharing. Our event work includes Coachella and SXSW.
Gaussian splatting for events and studio productions
Gaussian splatting reconstructs a captured moment as a 3D scene, opening up camera moves beyond the original viewpoints. We bring this technique to live experiences and studio productions, placing captured subjects in virtual environments without a green screen.
Actor scanning for 3D digital doubles
Our Montréal studio offers full-body photogrammetry and high-resolution head scanning to create 3D digital doubles of actors for movies and games. Synchronized cameras capture performers from multiple angles, including people in motion, to create detailed source imagery for 3D reconstruction.
The studio behind Xangle Camera Server
Founded by Eric Paré and operated alongside Kim Henry, Xangle Studio develops Xangle Camera Server, the multi-camera control software used in our own productions and by teams worldwide.
