Xangle Studio is a leading 3D scanning and multi-camera production space based in Montreal. With a system of over 400 cameras, the studio delivers high-precision results for major film productions and AAA video games.
The facility includes a high-resolution head scanner for capturing subtle facial expressions, as well as a full-body scanner designed for both standard 3D human data acquisition and high-speed motion capture.
The team develops Xangle Camera Server, a powerful multi-camera software used by many of the top scanning studios worldwide. In addition, they build custom electronic components to enable advanced capture techniques such as OLAT and RGB lighting systems that emulate real-world scenarios. By uploading a virtual scene, the system can recreate accurate lighting conditions on the subject with high fidelity.
Xangle Studio also operates a 176-camera bullet-time rig, used for both in-house content creation and live experiential events. The rig has been deployed at major events like Coachella and SXSW, as well as offshore locations in the UAE, China, Spain, and beyond. For high-end photobooths and marketing activations, the system can be configured from 24 to 100 cameras to create immersive, frozen moments, ready to be shared within a few seconds.
Founded and operated by Eric Paré and Kim Henry, the studio blends cutting-edge technology with artistic exploration. The space also features a green screen cyclorama for virtual production, a digital art gallery, and black box studios dedicated to original content creation and brand collaborations.
Xangle Studio stands at the crossroads of innovation and creativity—reshaping how humans are captured and stories are told.
